Nos Honks review in Lira

The debut CD from Nos Honks, Prisma, was reviewed in Lira:

Traversflöjt är ett sällsynt instrument inom svensk folkmusik, och två traversflöjter tillsammans är en raritet. Men det är just vad Anna Roussel och Markus Tullberg spelar och tillsammans med saxofonisten Jonas Knutsson utgör de den skivdebuterande trion Nos Honks. Hälften av materialet på skivan är kompositioner av Knutsson och Roussel, det övriga är traditionella låtar från Sverige, Bretagne och Irland, samt ett Bach-stycke som binds ihop med en polska försedd med ett typiskt Knutssonskt folkjazzsolo.
De två flöjterna växlar mellan unisont spel och stämmor, ofta med Knutssons barytonsax som botten, som i den traditionella polska Jeppson och den irländska Jolly tinker, men kan lika gärna kompa saxofonsolon, som i den bretonska Suite de kas a barh. /Rasmus Klockljung
